Throughout high school & college I played all over the United States, playing against some of the top talent in the country. After competing in college I was fortunate enough to pursue a career overseas to combine my passion for baseball with travel. I was able to play & coach in Canada, Germany, Australia and Hungary.
My experience in the German Bundesliga was my first season abroad. It was a huge year of growth in my life. Trying to compete at the professional level while getting adjusted to a new culture and language pushed me to develop mental strengths i didn't think i could achieve.
What are some of your greatest accomplishments?
Any time you get to be a part of a Championship team is a huge achievement in any player's career. In 2007 we won the Colorado State Championship. In 2011 I was a member of one of the most talented teams I've ever played on. We fell one game short of the Junior College World Series.
As a coach I have two accomplishments that stand out. We captured a Championship title in Australia on a walk off hit this past spring. Followed by my most recent coaching opportunity leading the Hungarian National team to the European Championship.
How do you want to inspire future players?
I want to inspire young players who have dreams of competing at the college & professional level. With Nomadic Baseball we want to grow their passion for the game and help them develop the skills needed to make it to the next level.
